2022 YT235 starting issues

I got my 2022 YT235 a few years back and it's been great but now it just won't fire up! I'm tearing into the engine bay looking for the fuel cut-off valve, but honestly, there's nothing obvious on the injector itself or the lines. To make things more interesting, I've got this random wire that looks like it's for the glow plugs, but it's just hanging there, not connected to anything, and the glow plugs seem to be working fine without it. What am I missing here? What actually stops this thing when I hit the key? Any ideas on the random wire too? Appreciate any insights!

Any symptoms you felt or notice before it 'just wont fire up'? On your YT235, the fuel cut-off is usually handled electronically by the fuel injection system or a solenoid, so there might not be a separate valve. That random wire is probably for the glow plug relay and might be unplugged if the glow plugs still work. If it wont start, check the fuel pump, injector power, fuses and relays. Also, make sure the kill switch or any safety switches arent on,, they can stop it from firing up. Thats my diagnosis

I think a lot of modern compact tractors like the YT235 are way overcomplicated for no good reason, simple mechanical shutoffs worked just fine for decades, but now everything's buried in sensors and mystery wires that nobody really needs

It shuts down via the fuel shutoff solenoid on the injection pump, not a manual valve. If it's not firing, check that solenoid for power when you turn the key. The loose wire could be for a temp sender or optional accessory worth tracing it back to be sure.
