I've got a Yanmar FX235 and at some point, I fixed a bent 4x4 engagement lever, but after reassembling the transmission, filling it with oil, and starting it up, the tractor won't move in any gear. Could I have accidentally moved the transmission disengage lever? Any ideas?

Kinda sounds like the transmission disengage lever might have been bumped during reassembly. Id check that first.

When you put the case back together, did you happen to notice if the 4WD engagement fork was sitting just right on the gear?
It's easy to get it a little off, and then it won't slide into place properly.
Another thing to check is that the linkage for the disengage lever is actually connected and moving the internal parts.
The linkage can slip or get disconnected easily on some of these older models.
It's a pain to drain the oil and open it up again, but it might be the only way to see what's going on in there!
