Power steering struggles

The YM 2020 handles well but the power steering could use more muscle. Haven't found a larger pump listed. Would another Yanmar model have one that fits?

It's possible another Yanmar model might have a pump that could fit, but direct swaps can be tricky.

i think your best bet is to check the parts diagrams for other similar sized Yanmar models and compare the power steering pump part numbers to yours.

or call up a local Yanmar parts dealer or an independent tractor mechanic who specializes in Yanmars could give you some solid leads.

I was kinda hoping for a silver bullet fix but checking part numbers and talking to a mechanic makes sense

If I'm not mistaken, Yanmar made a few models for John Deree, so some of those might fit? There's always an option to improvise, it's just a matter finding one that fits without some custom work.

I never would of thought to check for John Deere parts. That's some great outside-the-box thinking. You have given me a new stone to unturn in my search for a pump. I appreciate you sharing that bit of knowledge.
